Now Read This is a well established programme to help adults who have difficulty with reading and writing.
It has an Australian empasis as it has been developed and successfully used in Australia for nearly 50 years.
There have been a few revisions of the programme, but the most recent has been to digitise it. Originally a set of books for students and teachers, it is now (or soon will be) an online course that is entertaining as well as informative and useful. It will track the progress of users, and assess their progress to make sure they are actually learning as they work their way through the 10 difficult lessons.

Learning the letters of the alphabet is an essential beginning to being able to read.	A series of lessons all based on the first vowel 'a' & 'A'': phonetic sounds and single syllable words.	Another series of lessons using the second vowel 'e' & 'E': phonetic sounds and sigle syllable words.
