"Writing the Lower Case Letters" is one of over two
hundred movies in the English Literacy programme called Now Read
This.
This movie demonstrates how to write each of the 26 letters of the
lower-case alphabet. The letters are formed with strokes and arrows
over a pattern of 3 circles.
Interactive buttons allow the user to control the movie in the usual
way, and clicking on any of the letters at the top of the page will
take the movie straight to the writing of that letter. It will run
through the whole alphabet if left alone and finishes with a loop
of the completed letters. This feature makes it an interesting,
useful, and decorative display.
The movie of forming letters could be projected for a class to work
together, and it can also be used alone to aid one person who is learning
to write.
It is useful for both illiterate people who have English as the first
language, and also for people who are learning English and are not
familiar with the letters used to write the language.
