Privacy Policy
In this statement the phrase "our Web sites" refers explicity
to the following 3 sites:

In this statement the words "we" and "us" refer to myself, Carmel James, and my partner, Jon Falkenmire, and other people we employ to help in the development and management of these Web sites.
Protecting personal information is important to us and personal information will be held in strictest confidence.
Personal information will only be used for the purposes it was collected or in any way that the provider gives specific persmissions.
Collection
"Personal Information" means any information that can make the identity of an individual apparent, or can be reasonably ascertained from the information.
Personal information can be collected when a Web site user sends a contact form, emails us or buys something from our Web sites. At all times we will comply with the National Privacy Principles.
We have no reason to, and will not, collect personal information from third parties.
Disclosure of personal information
Personal information provided to our Web sites will not be disclosed to other organisations or individuals without the provider's express permission or when obliged to provide such information by lawful authority.
We will never sell, trade, lease or rent any personally identifiable information to other companies except as stated and agreed when collecting information..
We reserve the right to communicate with users about major progress in the projects that we are developing.
Web site visitors
Visitors remain anonymous when visiting our Web sites. We do not collect any information about visitors. The only information that we collect is what the users send us in forms that they fill in.
Like most Web sites, statistics will be collected in log files that show the IP address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited, and size of downloaded data.
Cookies will not be used for general tracking purposes but may be used where functionality requires it, i.e. in the shopping cart.
No attempt will be made to observe the use of the site by individuals except in the course of investigating any abuse.
E-Mail Lists
The e-mail lists that we have will contain only users that have opted to be on the list. The default will always be the opt-out option. On all emails sent, there will be an obvious means to be removed from the list.
Correct, update or delete personal information
The personal information stored in our databases is only available to the the persons to whom the information refers. After proof of identity, this information can be corrected, updated or removed from our records.
Web site users may contact us in any way listed on the 'contact us' web pages.
Acknowledgement
In attempting to create a true and complete Privacy Policy, I would like to acknowledge the best Privacy Policy that I could find on the Internet. It is one produced by the ACS, the Australian Computer Society (2003).
